About this speaker

Lindsay’s experience with contemplative practices and perennial philosophies spans decades. She leads experiential, nature-based workshops on developing a relationship with the Earth, participatory collective art and justice retreats and co-facilitates psychedelic retreats with a focus on earth-based preparation and integration. She is trained as a Buddhist eco-doula to provide spiritual support in times of climate collapse. She is currently completing her PhD in psychology at the University of Cambridge, focused on the sensual reciprocal relationship with the Earth. She is exploring how our embodied awareness can connect us to the wondrous cosmic tenderness of interconnectivity.

Formally trained in research psychology focusing on nature connection and trauma and mental health in war-affected populations, Lindsay is also an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and leads film-based interventions for people living amid violence to build on their inherent resilience. She is committed to the spiral-like relationship between personal and collective transformation and intersectional equity and justice.
